Painted Holiday Watercolor Paper Bags

Ok, are these the cutest, yes, yes they are! Who wouldn’t love to receive a hand painted watercolor bag for the holidays!? I can’t think of anyone who wouldn’t love one, I’m sure there are a few but I’m living in a magical world of painted bags so I’m a gonna just believe everyone wants one!

This is one of my fav holiday art ideas, a fun way to give away little pieces of artwork to brighten someone’s day. I learned this technique from Amanda Evanston, I took a class from her and she shared her painted bags, and I knew immediately I’d be making a lot of these, I think I ordered the supplies within a day so I could get started!

How Do You Get One?

Well, very good question! I’m in the process of painting 85 of these cuties for a market I’m doing in Midvale, Utah – Light Up Main Street Market Dec 13 from 5-8pm, directions here. Every purchase will be given a bag for free, until they run out. Tell your friends, family and neighbors, if you want to grab one of these unique bags.

I”m considering adding some to my etsy shop, let me know if you’re interested in purchasing.

Glitter makes everything better around the holidays, it’s like snow on bare trees, beautiful! I’m a huge fan of this glitter, with all its different sizes, from chunky to fine pieces.

What I used

Being new to Acrylics, I bought inexpensive supplies to try them out. I’m a watercolorist at heart but after painting over 50 of these bags, I’m adding acrylics to my favs! I’ll order better quality products next time.

All the products I used are in my Amazon List but I’ve listed them individually here as well.
