Watercolor Fall Leaf
Happy Fall!! I sat down to paint a Fall leaf and didn’t even know where to start so I went to Google Images to find a photo of a Fall leaf. Have you ever looked at watercolors on Google Images, there’s some amazingly talented people out there and the temptation to compare is so real but I’m happy to say I’m finally comfortable and very happy with my artistic style….imperfectly fun, simple, and playful.
I love the way it turned out! I’m still on a gold kick so almost all my little watercolors have a bit here and there. Gold is my favorite way to make my artwork pop with glittery goodness.
Oh yes, look at that shimmer, this leaf is all dressed up and ready for Fall.
I put it in my favorite oversized frame 4×6 frame from Target. Such a cutie!
I used:
- Winsor Newton Watercolor Pans
- Aritsts Loft Metallic Gold tube
- Princeton #8 brush
- Canson Watercolor Paper
