Creative Business: Packaging {MY} Etsy Products Part 1
Packaging, packaging, packaging! If you sell on Etsy, or sell anywhere, you’ve heard the talk about ‘Packaging’. I’ve read tons about packaging my artwork and I’ve got to say, WOW! There are tons of wonderful artists who have the most amazing packaging, inserts, freebies, etc. Laura from Cupcakes for Clara has one of my most favorite packagings…so stinkin’ cute!
So, I got to thinking about my packaging and what I’ll use to make it wonderful and fun. As you can see, my ideas are all in the above pic…top left to right….mini notebook with a few pages, mailing envelop with printed return address that folds to the back, ‘please, do not bend’ stamp from Wit & Whistle, bookplates, product ordered in glassine envelope and business card + tag a long card with discounts in glassine envelope (the notebook and bookplates with go in there also). Fun, right!?
I just need to buy the stamp and sew/staple the mini notebooks and do a bit of designing and it’ll be good to go by Launch Day, this Thursday. eek! I better get busy.
Ohhh! I have fallen in love with Mr Snail Mail!
Delighted to meet you and thrilled you’ll be joining us for Blogtoberfest12.

Wow! You’re really giving this a thought. Looks amazing!
P.S I can’t wait to read your answers. :))
I’m an over-thinker, it’s a curse. I’ll have your card sent out this week. I’ll post my answers tonight.
Hey Kristin,
Do you print all of your products yourself? I’ve produced a few paper products myself and have used external printers. Love to hear how other people get their art out there!
